Aaron represents businesses and individuals in contracts, compliance, education, and administrative law matters. He also represents businesses and individuals in complex litigation matters at trial and on appeal. Aaron has handled litigation and regulatory enforcement matters in state and federal courts and before government agencies involving the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504, the False Claims Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Water Act and other federal statutes.


Business services

Aaron assists businesses of all sizes—from small non-profits to billion-dollar publicly traded companies—with day-to-day legal needs, as well as corporate formation, contract review and disputes, and litigation. Aaron regularly serves as a partner to in-house legal teams in a variety of matters.


Compliance

Individually and as a Director for SunHawk Consulting, Aaron helps companies develop and maintain robust compliance programs. He has experience drafting policies and procedures, developing communication and implementation plans, and performing risk assessments for businesses of all sizes.


Education Law

Aaron represents charter schools, private K-12 schools, public and private higher-education institutions and other education-related businesses in all aspects of their businesses. As a former general counsel, Aaron acts as outside  counsel for schools who have a need for regular legal services. Aaron has experience representing a variety of educational institutions in Special Education matters and in response to complaints filed with the Department of Education Office for Civil Rights. These matters have involved Title II, Title IX, the IDEA and Section 504, as well as other federal statutes. He has experience dealing with state and federal authorities with internal investigations, accreditation, and compliance matters.


Administrative Law

Aaron represents businesses in regard to regulatory compliance, licensure, and government contracting issues. Aaron enjoys helping business protect their ability to operate while navigating the maze of administrative rules and regulations.


Litigation and Appeals

Aaron handles a variety of  litigation matters at trial and on appeal, including business divorces, commercial disputes, contract matters, tort actions, and alleged violations of state or federal statutes. Aaron has briefed and argued several cases in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and has briefed cases in the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Aaron also files amicus briefs on behalf of clients in a variety of courts around the country.
