I am the former General Counsel of the largest nonprofit charter school network in Arizona. I have experience with all the legal needs of a charter school or network of schools. I work with a number of charter schools with special education matters, regulatory matters with the State Board for Charter Schools, and more.
I became interested in special education matters because I have a brother with Asperger's Syndrome. Growing up, I saw the benefit that dedicated teachers and administrators can have on a student. I have represented parents and students in a variety of special education matters to ensure that they get the services they need to progress through the education system.
I represent university students regarding athletic eligibility, considerations for future professional careers (sponsorship, contracts, and general agent services), and related issues.
I represent K-12 and university students regarding discipline matters, constitutional issues, Greek life issues, academic program eligibility, contracts and disputes, and a variety of other matters.
