ERISA and Long-Term Disability

ERISA Claims

If you have a health or benefit plan with an employer, it is likely covered by a federal law called ERISA. If you have been denied after submitting a claim for long-term disability, a health claim, or other claims with your plan, you have a limited time to appeal that decision. I work with clients to recover benefits that they should receive under their ERISA plans and to protect businesses and their plans.

Long-Term Disability Claims

People purchase long-term disability insurance to protect themselves and their loved ones if they can no longer work. If you have suffered an injury that does not allow you to work, but have been denied benefits under your policy, you may have a claim. ERISA appeals are subject to certain timelines and other requirements. It is important to meet these requirements to allow your claim to proceed. If you believe that you have a claim, contact Martin Law & Mediation for a free file review and to discuss your options.

Other ERISA Claims

I also litigate other claims under ERISA on behalf of individuals and businesses. Claims range from allegations that a plan was not administered properly, that benefits were not provided when required by the plan, or when individuals believe they were prevented from receiving the benefits of an ERISA plan (section 510 claims).
